Matchbox's child warriors

Matchbox has an advertising campaign which pictures children as military personnel. A commenter on Boing Boing suggested contrasting these fantasy images with photos of real child soliders.

This is terrible and, as an article posted on mham's blog today tells, Boy Scouts of America are training scouts as young as 14 in border guard techniques using weapons and other means. The article is an older one from NYTimes and the Boy Scout training is under discussion in United Methodist Women Online. Future USA child soldiers?
